A family that stays together achieves a lot together, that was the case with the Rivers Chapter of SDD as they rounded up activities for the year 2021, in a very memorable way.

The event was held on the 15th of December 2021 at, University of Port Harcourt Lawn Tennis Court, Abuja Campus, Rivers.

The picnic was interesting because it was a time for sharing ideas, knowledge and catching all the fun there is.

An outstanding aspect of the event was a discourse on SOFADONDO, It was handled by the Rivers State Coordinator Miss Opara Ifunanya Susan, The discourse was captivating as it made room for questions and answers.

An important aspect of the picnic was a thrilling playlet which characterized a flippant student who was ready to give in anything, just to get a good and determined student, willing to go through the stress of studying and making sure no lecturer maltreated her.

The essence of the playlet was to encourage students to read and prepare hard for their exams to become valuable persons in society.

The most exciting part of the outing was having all thirteen (13) members around participate in games, eat and drink to fill, dance, candle lighting and music to celebrate the festive season.

All these would not have been possible without the backing and sponsorship of Dr Albert Obiozo, may God keep blessing him.
