A family that stays together achieves a lot together, that was the case with the Rivers Chapter of SDD as they rounded up activities for the year 2021, in a very memorable way.

The event was held on the 15th of December 2021 at, University of Port Harcourt Lawn Tennis Court, Abuja Campus, Rivers.

The picnic was interesting because it was a time for sharing ideas, knowledge and catching all the fun there is.

We are delighted to join the rest of the world to mark this year's human rights day today, 10th December, 2021.

The theme for this year is "All human, All Equal"

Yaaaaaaaaaay!!! It is another IVD.

International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development is observed on December 5 every year. The day is also referred to as IVD.
This year, the theme is Volunteer now for our common future.

Gift Ogbu, SofaDonDo Rivers State Volunteer, on the 31st of May, 2021 led a project tagged "Power in Your Hands"

Highlight of the event was the visit to Baptist High School, Borikiri.
Where Opara Ifunanya Susan, Constance God's Power and Gift Ogbu spoke to female students of the potentials they possess and how to reach inwards and harness these potentials.

As part of the State  wide tour by Rivers State SofaDonDo Advocacy Group, we  paid a visit to the Vice Chancellor of Ignatius Ajuru University of Education - Prof. Ozo-Mekuri Ndimele through the aid of Dr. Edith Chinyere Anucha.

On the 18, April, 2021 SofaDonDo Advocacy Group celebrated her 3rd Anniversary.

To mark this occasion, Rivers SofaDonDo Advocacy Group, on the 20, April, 2021 held a celebration, which included presentation of award to some outstanding volunteers of the group.

The SofaDonDo Advocacy Group is committed to the fight against the misnomer of #SexForMarks and #MarksForSex in all learning institutions across Nigeria.
To demonstrate commitment to this worthy course, members of the Rivers State Chapter of SofaDonDo Advocacy Group paid an advocacy visit to the Dean Student Affairs of the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) and Rivers State University (RSU), on the 23rd of February and 1st of March, 2021, respectively.

Taking the lead among universities, the University of Port Harcourt (Uniport), formally launched the institution’s Sexual Harassment Policy on Tuesday, 29th October 2019. The event kicked off with a Sensitization Campaign walk from Delta Park to the event Venue Center, Ebitimi Banigo Auditorium, University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
